JOBS FOR CINCINNATI GRADUATES HOLDS ITS 23th ANNUAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE AT NORWOOD HIGH SCHOOL ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2005

JOBS FOR CINCINNATI GRADUATES will hold its 23rd Annual Leadership Development Conference (LDC) on Saturday, November 5, 2005 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 at Norwood High School. A diverse group of more than 70 future leaders, elected as Career Association officers by their classmates, will participate in this conference. These students represent 10 area high schools, including East End Community Heritage School. Entrepreneurship H.S., Norwood, Princeton, Purcell Marian, Western Hills Design Technology High School, Winton Woods, Woodward High School and Woodward Career and Technology School.

The conference will include campaign speeches and elections for citywide JCG Career Association officers. There will be leadership development workshops and a special presentation by our guest speaker, Mr. Ken Green, Entrepreneur, is the keynote speaker. JCG Board Members, Kathy Beechem, VP USBank will provide a welcome to all attendees and Mr. Carver Johnson of the Kroger Company, will install the newly elected officers. City-wide Cincinnati Career Association officers will be elected and installed.

JCG is a non-profit agency operating in the Cincinnati area since 1982. It was founded by a group of Cincinnati business leaders and educators to assist high school students and drop-outs with significant challenges. JCG teaches these students the skills they need to graduate, to successfully enter the workforce, and to embark on a path of future career success.
