Other JCG Success Stories
RETURN TO COLLEGE RATE
The "drop-out rate" for college students between their first and second year is very high. Our mission is to help our students create achievable post high school plans. Therefore, we also track the percentage of students from our programs that return to college for their second year.
For all students attending college in Ohio, the retention rate is 68%. For JCG students who graduated from high school in June 2004, 42% went to college in the fall of 2004. Of those students, 91% successfully completed their first year of college and returned to college in the fall of 2005.

HIGH SCHOOL RETENTION RATE
Youth dropping out of school prior to their senior year is a serious problem. Of the JCG at-risk youth who were in 9th through 11th grades in the 2004-05 school year, 94% returned to high school in September 2005.
